Sara Marie Thompson

Sara Marie Thompson, 28, died Saturday Feb. 16, 2013. Sara was born Sept. 5, 1984, in Greenville, Texas. She attended Jenkins Memorial Center in Pine Bluff, Ark. for 14 years. Sara loved people, especially children. Survivors include her parents, Michael and Nancy Mangum Thompson of McGehee, Ark.; grandmother, Helen O. Thompson of McGehee, Ark.; brother, Robert Allyn (Rachel) Thompson of McGehee, Ark.; sister, Terri O'Uida (Nathan) Meier of Enid, Okla.; nephew, Ezra Meier of Enid, Okla.; nieces, Daphne Meier of Enid, Okla. and Kristin Thompson of McGehee, Ark.; special friends, Paige and Jade Roderick; care givers, Catherine Reeves, Sonda Preston and Christine Parnell. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph Thompson, Earnest E. Mangum and Florence Yeary Mangum. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, Ark. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gene Gregory and Rev. Ben White officiating. Burial will follow at McGehee Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Mangum, Mike Mangum, Adam Foster, Mike Aragus, Nathan Meier and Stephen Thompson.
