Raymond Reese Hood

RAYMOND REESE HOOD, 92, of Little Rock, passed away Feb. 21, 2013. He was a longtime member of Immanuel Baptist Church. A retiree of the U.S. Postal Service, he was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers and a United States Marine Corps veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his son, James Martin Hood; his parents, William Martin Hood and Alma Pearl Reese Hood; and his wife, Agnes June Hood. Services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. at Presbyterian Village, officiated by Dr. Gary Hollingsworth and Dr. David Moore, followed by a graveside service at 3:30 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery in Sheridan. There will be open visitation on Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.)
