Billy James Daniel Jr.

BILLY JAMES DANIEL JR., 41, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed away Feb. 21, 2013, after a lengthy illness. He was born Dec. 20, 1971, in Little Rock to his parents, Billy James Daniel,Sr and Janis Kelly Daniel of Maumelle, who survive him. He was predeceased by his grandparents, B.A and Mary Daniel and Christine Kelly. Billy is also survived by his wife, Angela Daniel; two sons, Billy J. Daniel, III and Andrew S. Daniel of Beebe; step-son, Brock Harris of North Little Rock; step-daughter, Hayden Newman of Beebe; sister, Misty K. Hill of Maumelle; grandfather, Stanley Kelly of North Little Rock; mother-in-law, Glenda Ballard of Searcy; as well as, his loving aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and friends. Billy never met a stranger and had a kind, giving, and loving heart. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He graduated from Northeast High School in 1990 and attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Funeral Home in North Little Rock with Bro. Jason Vaden officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service. Entombment will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Lung Association.
