George (Buddy) T. Harris

George (Buddy) T. Harris, 75, of Conway passed away on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013. He was born on Monday, March 29, 1937, in Atkins, Ark. to the late Adam and Ruby (Bernard) Harris. He was a special man, who meant a lot to his family and his grandchildren adored him. He was a welder and truck driver. He is survived by three sons, Gary Harris, Darryl Harris, and Dale Harris; daughters, Debbie Deaton, Carolyn Wages, and Kim Tittle; 22 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Sue McHolan; brothers, J. B. Harris and Johnny Harris; and mother of his children, Claudia Harris. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, George Harris Jr.; brothers, Woodrow Harris, Bill Harris, and Jerry Don Harris; and sisters, Vadie Harris, Elizabeth Harris, Frances Kiehl, and Nina Burleson. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at Bell's Chapel Cemetery in Atkins with Mark Burleson officiating.
