Euna Hardcastle Dickey, 97, of Russellville died Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, in Russellville. Born July 9, 1915, in Lamar, Arkansas, she was an elementary teacher for 38 years at the Summerland School, Lutherville School, and then Lamar schools, all in Johnson County, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Dickey, and their duaghter, Azile Dickey Moak; her parents Floyd Hardcastle and Jessie Cude Hardcastle; and her siblings, Velma Lee, Marzo Hardcastle, Richard Hardcastle, Ruby Rodden, and Audra Smith. She is survived by two daughters, JoAnn Shatwell and husband, Leroy, of Clarksville, and Glenna Dougan of Heber Springs, Ark.; one half-brother Harold Hardcastle; five grandchildren, Dickey Shatwell and wife, Teresa, of Lamar, Kim Shatwell Young and husband, Chris, of Belton, Mo., Kadra Dougan Daniel and husband, Doug, of Fox, Ark., DeeNita Moak of McLean, Va., and Krista Moak, of North Little Rock, Ark; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. Visitation will be held at Roller Cox Funeral Home on Monday Feb. 25 from 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 26 at Lee's Chapel Assembly of God Church in Lamar, Ark., with the Rev. Amos Pledger officiating. Burial will be at Annie's Chapel Cemetary at Lamar with Dennis Stumbaugh, Roger Crutchfield, Don Ray Freeman, Gayland Holman, Jerry Miller, and Johnny Schuh serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Joe Wilkins, Allen Castleberry, Ricky Casey, Cindy Roper, and Sarah Laroe. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home 754-2201.
