Robert Henry Bell

Robert Henry Bell, 82, of Benton, died Monday, February 25, 2013. He was born on August 6, 1930 in Warner, OK to the late Ross Henry and Vera Duvall Bell. Mr. Bell had retired from Alcoa after working 40 years and was in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church and a Mason with the Congo Lodge. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane (Scott) Bell and one brother, Wayne Bell. He is survived by two sons, Greg Bell and wife Kay of Rockwall, Texas and Jeff Bell of Benton; one daughter, Robin Elliott and husband Jay of Benton; one brother, David Bell (Beth) of Charleston, SC; six sisters, Sue Curtis, Lela Graddy (Ray), Ann Nix, Linda Hill (Len) and Peggy Newsom (Bill) all of Benton and Betty Lou Harrell (Dale) of Malvern; six grandchildren, Tiffany Bell (Dennis Shaffer), Adam Bell (Taylor), Brittany Bell, Sara Elliott, Anna Elliott, and Hillary Bell, one great grandson, Zachary Bell, many nieces & nephews, other relatives, and family. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Sharon Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Sean Collins officiating. Interment will follow at New Rosemont Memorial Park in Benton. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening February 27th at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047).
