Clara Mae Wagner of Little Rock went to be with the Lord February 22, 2013. She was born May 26, 1917 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She was the daughter of Philip and Matilda Singer, one of ten children, all deceased. After graduating from Business College, she was employed as a medical secretary. In 1944 she married Adolph (Alex) Wagner while he was serving in the Canadian Army. In 1961 they moved from Canada to California where she was again employed as a medical secretary for many years until her retirement. In 1992 she and her husband moved to Little Rock and became active members of Christ Lutheran Church. After 61 years of marriage, her husband died in April, 2006. She is survived by her son, Dr. Kenneth P. Wagner (Jeanette), grandson Matthew P. Wagner (Tresa) of Springfield, Mo., granddaughter, Jennifer M. Craig (Randall) of North Little Rock and two great-grandsons, Samuel W. Craig and Miles D. Wagner. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews throughout the US and Canada. A graveside service for the family will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery on Saturday, March 2, 2013. A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held later that day at 1 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 315 S. Hughes St., Little Rock, Ark. 72205. Reverend Dan Hauser will officiate. Family visitation will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, Little Rock, Ark. at the address above.
