Mary Ethel Makin

Mary Ethel Nichols Makin, age 78, of Lonsdale died Tuesday February 26, 2013. She was born January 6, 1935 in Kentucky. Mary was retired from the Benton School District and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ethel Crouch Nichols and her husband, Donald Makin. Survivors, son, Donald Makin Jr. of Tennessee; daughters, Kay Prysock, Benton; Debbie Teague, Glenwood; Angie Furr, Benton; sister, Bessie Wilson, three brothers, William Nichols, Arlin Gabbard, Aurther Gabbard, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Friday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Mary's name.
