S Lee Hamby

Mrs. S. Lee Hamby passed from this life on January 1, 2013 in Greenbrier, Ark. surround by her family. She was born to the late Avery Collins Humphrey and Alice Ester Humphrey. Mrs. Hamby worked as an accountant for Shell Oil Company for over 40 years in Houston Texas; she retired and moved to Conway, Ark. to be near her family, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Conway Eastern Star # 47, Conway New Comers' Club, and was a graduate of Sam Houston University, Huntsville, Texas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hamby, son; Roy Lee; grandson, Robert Lee, and her great-grandson, Robert Michael Lee. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Kris Lee, three grandchildren; Jim Lee (Nancy), Joyce Sullivan (Kenny), and Barbra Warren (David), nine great-grandchildren; Jennifer Warren Raby (Robbie), Mandy Lee Poteete, Jesse Warren Moss (Josh), Jordan Sullivan, Samantha Lee, Jared Sullivan, Jacie Sullivan, Roy Lee, and Aubrey Lee, six great-great-grandchildren; Austin Poteete, Blake Poteete, Gracie Raby, Kenlie Raby, Marlee Raby, and Whitlee Patterson. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Greenbrier Rehabilitation Unit and Ms. Verena Moix for their special love and care. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 4 at 1 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
