Gloria Kay Baker

Ms. Gloria Kay Baker 67, of Clinton, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 7, 2013. She was born September 19, 1945 at Lawrence, Kansas the daughter of the late Willard and Madge (Lewis) Baker. She was a retired educator having taught at the junior high, high school, and postsecondary levels. She was a teacher-educator at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, before spending 20 years as a State Superviser with the Arkansas State Department of Education in Little Rock. Ms. Baker was a member of the Pee Dee Baptist Church and many professional education organizations. She is survived by her, sister, Gay McHam of Morganton, Ark.; two nieces, Jennifer Fulks of Morganton, Ark.; and Carrie Schwandt of Cabot, Ark.; three great nieces, Sarah Blair Fulks, Ally Lee, and Shasta Schwandt, and one great nephew, J.W. Lee. Visitation will be 10 a.m. and funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas with Rev. Todd Davis officiating.
