Sara Jane Harper

Sarah Jane Harper, 75, of Gurdon, Arkansas died Monday January 7, 2012 in Arkadelphia. She was born January 2, 1938 to Dave and Evelyn Hardin Howell, in Gurdon, Arkansas. She was a member of East Whelen Baptist Church. Sarah is preceded in death by her Husband Adrian Harper, her Mother and Father and one brother David Howell. Sarah is survived by two sons; Hal Harper (Shari) of Gurdon, Arkansas and Greg Harper (Stephanie) of Lonoke, Arkansas, one daughter Pam Hathcoat (Leon) of Gurdon, Arkansas, two sisters Connie Dotson of Cabot, Arkansas and Gloria Hendrix of Dallas, Texas; nine Grandchildren, Brandon Harper, Brock Harper, Toby Childres, Tyler Childres, Brittney Ellis, Lauren Russell, Jennifer Thomas, Rebecca Carter, and Lori Rogers and sixteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be: Wednesday January 9, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon Chapel. Graveside service will be Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Bethlehem Cemetery.
