Clenton R. Cash, 79, of Benton passed away January 8, 2013. Clenton was born on February 1, 1933 in the family home on Cash Mountain Road in Saline City to James Cash and Frances McDougal. He loved music and the outdoors. Clenton retired from Alcoa after working 42 years as an electrical supervisor. He served as choir director for numerous churches and was a member of the Happy Day Gospel singers. Clenton was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother; Edith Wood Cash, his wife; Dorothy (Dottie) Householder Cash, one granddaughter; Nicole Cash, four brothers; Ellis, Edward, Bob and Morris Cash, two sisters; Letty Cash Burks and Hazel Cash Hughes. He is survived by five children; Debbie Turbyfill, Randy Cash and Lorna Higgins (Bill) all of Benton, Arkansas; Robert Mashburn (Jan) of Texas; Richard Mashburn (Aria) of Arizona; seven grandchildren; David, Bartley, Daniel, Kelly, Kim, Brian and Renee; and fifteen great grandchildren. He also leaves two brothers; Raymond Cash (Merrill) of Benton, Alton Cash (Julia) of Malvern, six sisters; Lorene Weise and Catherine Inman of Little Rock, Thelma Baggett of Haskell, Alma Raper, Shirley Evans (Bud), Joan Bowers (Maynard) of Benton, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and Special Baby Daisy. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills, 10200 Hwy. 5 N., Alexander, Arkansas. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday morning at Indian Springs Baptist Church with burial following at Fair Play Cemetery, I-30, Exit 106, Benton.
