Douglas Eugene Bibles

Douglas Eugene Bibles, age 84, of Center Ridge, Ark., passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, in Clinton. He was born June 29, 1928, in Austin, Texas. He retired from Naval Aviation in 1962 and later from Kennecott Copper Corporation in 1977. He worked in Austin, Texas until age 65 before moving to his farm in Center Ridge. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dana Marilyn Bibles; three sons, Gregory Allen Bibles of Silver City, N.M., Samuel Wayne Bibles of Tulsa, Okla., and Robert Douglas Bibles of North Little Rock, Ark.; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Roller-McNutt Chapel. Burial will be in Plant Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Clinton.
