Mary Galbraith Lednisky, 93, of Clarksville, Arkansas, was born on September 9, 1919, in Three Creeks, Arkansas (Union Co.), to Daniel Cleve Galbraith and Lucy Britt Galbraith and died on January 12, 2013, at North Logan Mercy Hospital in Paris, Arkansas. She is survived by a daughter, Gwen (Francis) Usery (Billy) of Clarksville, three grandchildren, Stephen Usery (Jayne) of New York City, New York, Gary Usery (Charlotte) of El Dorado, Arkansas and Angel Black (Wade) of Clarksville, and four great grandchildren, Aaron Usery, Hannah Usery, Emily Black and Ellie Black. She is also survived by a brother, James Galbraith (Jean) of Abita Springs, Louisiana, a sister, Mattie Chenault (Jack) of Shreveport, Louisiana, two sisters-in-law, Joy Galbraith of North Little Rock, and Dorothy Galbraith of El Dorado, Arkansas, a stepdaughter, Jo Avra (Ernest) of Conway and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Max Hall and Julius Lednisky, two brothers, Doyle Galbraith and Jack Galbraith, three sisters, Farris McGough, Eliese Blue, and Rhona Ruth Kennedy, and a step daughter, Helen (Hall) Banks Ferguson. She was a graduate of Parkes Chapel High School (Union Co.), and her name is engraved on the sidewalk with the Class of 1940. She spent most of her adult life in North Little Rock and Little Rock prior to her moving to Clarksville to be near her daughter. During her years living in Little Rock and North Little Rock, she was a secretary and a bookkeeper for several businesses, and her last employment was with the State of Arkansas Revenue Department. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clarksville. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Clarksville Building Fund (P.O. Mrs. Lednisky's funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013, in the Chapel of Roller-Cox Funeral Home, with Dr. Darrell Bridges officiating.
