James W "Bro Mac" McDaniel

James W. "Bro. Mac" McDaniel 79 of Benton formerly of Jonesboro died Tuesday. He was a deacon at First Baptist Church, Jonesboro, Ark., retired employee of IBM and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Survivors include: wife, Kathy Jenkins McDaniel of Benton; children, Gregory McDaniel Jamille (Brandy) Jenkins, Andrea Johnson and Angela (Austin) Powell; siblings, Leonard (Nakgo) Scott, Joseph Scott, Sarah and Famika Ingram; special cousin, Diane (James) Rogers; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and his extended family. Funeral service: 10 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2013 at Park View United Methodist Church 514 N Border Street Benton, Ark. Visitation prior to the service. Burial: 12 noon at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock, Ark.
