Ruth Cazort Patton

Ruth Cazort Patton, 94, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born in Ward, Arkansas, on April 1, 1918, to James and Daisy Cobb Cazort. She later moved to San Diego, California, where she lived for 62 years and retired from Solar/International Harvester in 1977. She is survived by step-son, Stanley B. Patton (Claudia); step-daughter-in-law, Gail Patton (Dennis); cousins, Dan Patton (Laurie), Charlotte Berry (Ogden); five step-grandchildren; and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Herman "Red" Patton; son, James Shannon; step-son, Dennis Duane Patton; parents, James and Daisy Cobb Cazort; sisters, Catherine, Maxine, Ora Mae; and brothers, Bruce, Jim and Wayne. The family would like to thank Ruth's care-givers, Lillie Jackson and Barbara Osbon, Hospice Home Care nurse, Mary Brown, and aide, Carmon Crain. The family visitation will be on January 23, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas, (501) 224-8300.
