Robert John Asbury

Robert John Asbury, 64 of Bryant passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013. He was born April 24, 1948 to the late, Ernest Garland and Meryl Marionneaux Asbury. He is survived by his wife Diannia McLendon Asbury; daughters, Dallas Aira and husband, Matthew of Holister, Calif., Tonya Watson and Britney Asbury both of Gilroy, Calif. and Shannon Work and husband, David of Bryant, Ark.; sons, Shawn and Aaron Asbury both of Gilroy, Calif. and Chase Perry of Maumelle, Ark.; seven granddaughters; one grandson; and one brother, Gary Asbury and wife, Edna of New Orleans, La. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Furr Cemetery. Reverend James Carroll Newton and Jacob Gorhan will officiate the services.
