Alford B. "AB" Luck, 90, of Rosston passed away Jan. 25, 2013, in Little Rock, Ark. He was born April 9, 1922, in Rosston, Ark. to Joe D. and Mary Adie Luck. AB was a retired optician for Bausch & Lomb, a World War II South Pacific Veteran, and recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rosston where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Luck was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mary Luck, also, his wife, Maxine Morgan Luck. He is survived by two daughters, Darla Hunt Wise of Little Rock, Ark., Rita Gail Stone, and husband, Dan of Sherwood, Ark.; grandchildren, Dr. James Hunt, Chief Jeff Hunt, Tricia Stevens, Amy Hinkson, and Eric Stone; great grandchildren, Al Hunt, Jessica Carey Huett, Jeremy and Trevor Hunt, Jonathan and Justin Stevens, Jessica, Amanda, Mary Kate, Charlie, Joey, and Faith Hinkson, Chase and Zachary Stone; great-great grandchildren, Avie June Huett, Gracie and Annabeth Hunt. Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Rosston with Bro. Charles Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Rosston Cemetery, under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Prescott. Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, from 2-4 p.m. at the Pharr Funeral Home of Prescott. In lieu of flowers, family request memorials to the First Baptist Church of Rosston or Easter Seals Arkansas in the name of Alford B. Luck VIII.
