Joan Bouscher Wood

Joan Bouscher Wood, 73, of Stuttgart, died Monday, July 1, 2013. Joan was born October 29, 1939, in DeWitt to the late Delbert Bouscher and Joyce (Trussell) Gresham. She is also preceded in death by an infant son, Joe Eddie Wood. Mrs. Wood was retired from Kroger, was the co-owner of J&J Trailer Sales, and was a founding member of Stuttgart Harvest Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Johnny E. Wood; daughter, Pam Hogue and husband Mike of Bryant; son, David Wood and wife, DeAnn of Vilonia, and son, Todd Wood and wife, Kathie of DeWitt; brothers, William Gresham, Billy Joe Gresham, Darrell Bouscher, James Ed Bouscher, and Delbert Bouscher; grandchildren, Aerial Guffey, Candice Boston (Clint), Dylan Hogue, Cody Wood, Jake Hogue, Colton Wood and Logan Wood. Visitation will be 12-2 p.m. Friday, July 5 at First Baptist Church in Stuttgart, followed by a funeral service at 2pm, officiated by Pastor Harley Petty. Burial will follow at DeWitt Cemetery.
