Grace House Cleveland, 84 of Searcy, formerly of Walnut Ridge, passed from this life Thursday, July 4, 2013. She was born Oct. 8, 1928 in LaGrange, Ga. to William E. and Ada Browning House. She received a Master's Degree from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro and later received a second Master's Degree in Counseling from Cornerstone University in Nashville, Tenn. She was a member of the College Church of Christ in Searcy. She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Arthur Richard Cleveland; sons, William Eric Cleveland and Arthur Richard Cleveland Jr.; daughter, Kathryn Yvonne Cleveland; and five sisters, Mary Hill, Blanche Anderson, Pauline Underwood, Irene Vaughn and Willie Mae Cotney of LaGrange, Ga.; one brother, William Earl House of LaGrange, Ga. She is survived by her daughter, Annette Kittany and husband, Jimmy, of Marion; five grandchildren, Arthur Richard Cleveland III of McKinney, Texas, Amy Cleveland of Fayetteville, Ark., Wade Jones of Searcy, Ark., Timothy Norman of Jonesboro, Ark. and David Blake Jones of Little Rock, Ark.; nine great-grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew and Brittney Norman of Jonesboro; Cooper, Emily and Lucy Cleveland of McKinney, Texas., Tyler Cleveland of Fayetteville, Ark., Jack and John Robinson of Siloam Springs, Ark. Funeral Services will be Monday, 11 a.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Searcy with John Kachelman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. A second visitation will be held, 2:30 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge. Graveside Services will immediately follow visitation at Lawrence Memorial Park in Walnut Ridge. House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge had charge of arrangements.
