Robert Edward Hunter

Lt. Col. (Air Force Retired) ROBERT EDWARD HUNTER of North Little Rock passed away July 4, 2013. He was born in Springfield, Mo. on July 12, 1927. Survivors are his wife of almost 60 years, Dana Hunter; daughters, Kathy (Bill) Groce of Little Rock and Judy (Steve) Colby of Raleigh, N.C.; grandsons, Hunter Groce and Daniel, Jeff, Seth and Sean Colby. Mr. Hunter was part of the WWII Japanese Occupation Forces while in the Navy. He graduated from the University of Southern California. He was career Air Force with the Strategic Air Command (SAC). He retired from the Air Force in 1972 and made a 2nd career with Allis Chalmers/Siemens in Little Rock. He retired from Allis Chalmers in 1980.
