Rose Jolley Lord

Rose Jolley Lord, age 88, of Pine Bluff, Ark. died Wednesday, July 3, at North Metro Medical Center, Jacksonville, Ark. She was born June 23, 1925 at West Helena, Ark., a daughter of the late Robert Lee Bush and Edith Rawls Bush. She was a graduate of the Hamburg High School and attended the Modern School of Business. She was a staff member for Congressman Ray Thornton and Mayor Dave Wallace for the City of Pine Bluff from which she retired. Rose was a member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husbands, Arthur Lamar "Dute" Jolley, whom she married on Sept. 17, 1950 and he died Aug. 26, 1984, and Aubrey Lord, whom she married Aug. 15, 1986, and he died May 19, 2005; a brother, Clyde Lamar Bush, also preceded Rose in death. Surviving are two stepsons, Greg Lord and wife Julie, Germantown, Tenn.; and Jim Lord and wife, Lynn, Pine Bluff, Ark; a stepdaughter, Dianne McAllister and husband Larry, Woodberry, Tenn; seven step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Peggy Bush, Alpine, Calif; five nieces and nephews all of California. Graveside services 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation 9 a.m. until service at Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren.
