Yvonne J. Moore, 78 of Little Rock passed away on July 10, 2013. She was born on October 30, 1934 to the late Joseph and Josephine Allgire in Valmeyer, Illinois. She was a homemaker who spent her life making a home for her children and her husband. She was a Godly woman who enjoyed sharing her faith with others and was an active member of Fellowship Bible Church. Yvonne was a leader for Community Bible Study and taught Sunday School. She lectured on the Civil War and was part of the Civil War Reenactment and Living History. She worked as a secretary for Dr. Burton, D.D.S and school secretary for Gibbs Elementary and the Arkansas Baptist School System. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of over 59 years, Harvey E. Moore; her four sons Rick (Terri) of Danville, Indiana, Mike (Dotty) of Little Rock, Danny (Tamara) of Bryant, Thomas (Vicki) of Greenwood, Missouri; her grandchildren Richelle, Lauren, Christopher, Anne-Marie, Jonathan, Sarah and Mackenzie; her "adopted" daughters Joy (Howard) Tucker, Judy (George) Lepper, Tina (Doyle) Brown and Liz Cox; her cousin Ross Schneider and a host of extended family and friends, all who will miss her dearly. Funeral services will be on Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home with Brother Shelby Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, July 14th, 2013 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander, Ark. 72002 (501) 455-1067.
