ALBINA A. STROZYK, 93, of Marche, passed away on the evening of Friday, July 12, 2013. She was born in Marche, Ark. on Feb. 11, 1920 to Ben and Mary Bargiel. Albina was a life-long member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Marche and a member of the Rosary Sodality and Alter Society. She was the housekeeper for many years at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and School. She was an outstanding gardener, keeping an immaculate garden and yard. She also loved to cook. Albina is survived by her daughters, Hattie Wilk of Maumelle, Rose Parker of North Little Rock, and Marie Allison (Don) of Little Rock; one brother, Floyd Bargiel of North Little Rock; and one sister, Mary Brumley of North Little Rock; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, Albina was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Strozyk; son, Richard Strozyk; five brothers, Walter, Ted, Felix, Alois and Adam Bargiel; and two sisters, Bernadine and Anna Bargiel. The family would like to express a special thanks to the Lakes Nursing and Rehabilitation at Maumelle and to Odyssey Hospice. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2013 with Rosary Service to follow at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, 758-1170. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Services will be officiated by Rev. Thomas J. Hart and assisted by Deacon Brunon Strozyk. Burial will be in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery.
