Jimmy (Jimbo) L. Hudson

Jim L. Hudson (Jimbo), 66, of El Dorado, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 14, 2013. He was born in Manning, Ark., to J.P. and Leethey Hudson. Jim served in the U.S. Army for two years as a Specialist E4. He was named soldier of the month and of the quarter 1967. He was employed by Milam Construction for 21 years as Vice President of Estimating. Jim was a lifetime member of College Avenue Church of Christ. Jim was a wonderful and generous husband, father, son, paw-paw, brother and friend. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, horse racing but most of all spending time with his precious family and friends. He also loved taking care of his special companion "little bit". He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Robin "Dell" Hudson; and brother, Benny Hudson. Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Adams, and husband Donnie of Watson Chapel; son, Shane Barron, and wife Lynn of Stuttgart; six granddaughters, Rainey and Jessica Adams of Watson Chapel, Sydney and Taylor Barron and Rachael Capps of Stuttgart, Kalie Gathright of El Dorado; grandson Sammy Capps of Stuttgart; three sisters- in- law, Miriam Hudson of Shreveport, La, Mary K. Cameron of El Dorado and Gayle Bird (Richard) of El Dorado. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at Young's. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Young's Chapel with Bro. Duane Amis officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
