Laura Lynn McKenney

Laura Lynn Ferguson McKenney, 35, of White Hall died Friday, July 12, 2013, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born April 4, 1978, in Pine Bluff, a daughter of Bruce Lynn and Becky McAvoy Ferguson. She was reared and received her education in White Hall, graduating from White Hall High School in 1996. She was a lifelong resident of White Hall. Mrs. McKenney was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church and an employee of the Arkansas Department of Corrections where she worked in the Central Records Department. She enjoyed reading, photography and computer research and Tai Ho Ryu Karate and was a lifetime member of the NRA. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Susie Walker and R.J. McAvoy; and paternal grandfather, Boise Ferguson. Survivors include her husband, Jonathan Patrick McKenney Jr. of the home; parents, Bruce Lynn and Becky McAvoy Ferguson of White Hall; sister, Leah Ferguson McDaniel of White Hall; and paternal grandmother, Juanita Ferguson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Thursday, July 18, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St Joseph Catholic Church with Father L. Warren Harvey and Father Frank DuPreez officiating. Burial will follow in St Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A Vigil service will be Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. in Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with visitation to follow.
