Berniece Harbour

Berniece Lois (McGee) Harbour passed from this life to her eternal reward July 18, 2013 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born November 6, 1923 to the late James Walter and Blanche Almeta McGee. She married her sweetheart, Davis Wesley Harbour, on the "streets of Bald Knob" on June 13, 1942 at the height of World War II. Berniece is survived by her children, Calvin Eugene Harbour (Linda) of Letona, Linda Fay Favre (Jim) of Little Rock, Kathryn Ladelle Winningham of Sunland, California, Boyce Daniel Harbour (Joyce) of Southlake, Texas and a daughter-in-law, Jane Bledsoe of Hot Springs; siblings, Bud McGee of The Dalles, Oregon, Emma Smith of Georgia, Geraldine Crimes of Bald Knob and Carl McGee of Heber Springs; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Davis Wesley Harbour; a son, Wesley Glenn Harbour; siblings, Daniel McGee, Evelyn Smith, J.C. McGee, Bertha Southerland, Richard McGee and Almeta Bennett. Visitation will be held Monday, July 22, 2013 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Powell Funeral Home. A service will follow at the Shady Grove Cemetery Pavilion at 11 a.m. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Valley Ranch Nursing and Rehab of Little Rock for their compassionate care during her stay there and Odyssey Hospice for their care the past month.
