Earlin Ray (Curley) Moody, 77, of Scott, died Thursday, July 18, 2013 at his home. He was born February 25, 1936 in Keo to Howard S. and Cynthia Odell Haygood Moody. Curley was a retired machinist for 3M and a lifelong member of Providence Hunting Club and known as "Metal Man" to the Rose City CBer's Club. He enjoyed being retired allowing his favorite past time of spending time with his family fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 47 years, Lereva; two brothers, his twin Merlin (Toad) Moody and James Hogan. Curley is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Wayne) Tyson and Earlene (Mike) Burr all of Scott; four grandchildren, Ray Tyson, Neal (Renee) Tyson, Jennifer Burr all of Scott and Leslie Warrick of Pensacola, Florida; three sisters, Helen Robinson of Altheimer, Betty Kemmerer of Farmersville, California and Joyce Caple of Scott; eight great-grandchildren, Payton and Kiley Tyson of Scott, Patrick, Tyler, Ian and Bradan Warrick of Pensacola, Florida, Lindsay and Jeffrey (Erin) Krisell of England and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank his caregiver Ms. Okla Krisell for all the kindness shown to him and to his loved ones. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mulberry Cemetery.
