Elmer Wayne Bohnert

Elmer Wayne Bohnert, 74 of Gillett, Arkansas died July 25,, 2013 at his home. Wayne was born April 16, 1939 in Gillett, Arkansas, the son of the late, Elmer Joseph and Shirley Menard Bohnert. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Gillett and a farmer, Wayne had also served in the Army. His parents and a daughter, Denise Bohnert and a grandson, Mason Bohnert preceded him in death. Survivors are his wife of 32 years, Debbie Harmon Bohnert of Gillett, Arkansas, three sons, Charles W. "Chuck" Bohnert of Gillett, Arkansas, Billy W. "Bill" Bohnert of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Payton (Jessica) White of North Little Rock, Arkansas and three daughters, Laura (Ronnie) Norquist of Shaw, Mississippi, Bobbie Sue (Josh) Kirtley of Cabot, Arkansas and Sammie Jo (Clayton) Chappell of DeWitt, Arkansas and sister, Dyan Bohnert of Dumas, Arkansas, ten grandchildren; Dakota, Clayton Xander and Bryce Bohnert, Maddox White, Layni Kirtley, Nathan & Cody Norquist, Sophia & Julia Bohnert, three great-grandchildren; Colby, Korlie & Kate Norquist. Family and friends are welcomed for visitation at the home of Elmer Wayne and Debbie. Funeral services held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 27, 2013, First Baptist Church, Gillett with Rev. Gene Jordan and Rev. Eddie Best officiating with burial in Gillett Cemetery. Memorials: First Baptist Church, Gillett, Arkansas or Gillett Cemetery.
