Hansel Clayborn Hill

Hansel Clayborn Hill of Alpine went home to be with the Lord on July 25. Hansel was born on July 12, 1932 in Chalybeate Valley to Henry and Agnes Hill. He was an Air Force veteran and owned Hansel Hill Roofing. He is a member of Chalybeate Valley Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and a Director on South Central Electric Cooperative. Hansel is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Helen Hill, two sons, Steve Hill of Alpine, Michael Hill of Trinity and one daughter Theresa Sutton of Alexander. He was blessed with 10 grandsons. He is also survived by two brothers and one sister. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday July 28, at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the Ruggles -Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Hill Cemetery south of Alpine. Sign the online registry at www.ruggleswilcox.com.
