Bivian Pauline Rice

Bivian Pauline "Jackie" Rice 71, of Bee Branch, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 27, 2013. She was born April 29, 1942 in Helena, Arkansas to the late Paul and Novlain (Minick) Smith. Carl and Bivian were married July 2, 1971 and made their home in Gravesville Community. "Jackie" is what she was called by her friends around her local coffee shop, and her local Volunteer Fire Department. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, her husband Archie Carl Rice, and brother, M.L. Latting. She is survived by her daughter, Renaa Taber and her adopted son, Casey Rice of the home, son, Paul Tabor of Center Ridge, Ark.;; two grandsons, Brandon Tabor, and Andrew Tabor both of Center Ridge, Ark.;; daughter-in-law, Karen Tabor of Center Ridge, Ark.; brother, Jay Smith (Wanda) of Bald Knob, Ark.;; and many friends. Pallbearers: Carlos Stevenson, Hampton Stevenson, Brandon Tabor, Jonathan Eversoll, Jim Thorp, and Todd Smith. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013 and Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 01, 2013 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas with Rev. Bobby Minick officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Mountain Cemetery Gravesville Cutoff Road Bee Branch, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to the Casey Rice Scholarship Fund at Simmons First Bank of Clinton, Arkansas.
