Leroy Ferrell

Leroy Ferrell, 87, of Imboden, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, July 30, 2013. He was born Monday, May 10, 1926 in Decatur, Illinois to the late James and Florence Lawrence Ferrell. Mr. Ferrell was a plant supervisor for Southern Petroleum which became Belcher Oil. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Imboden and a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Francis Queen Ferrell; a brother; and a sister. He leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Milton Ferrell of Coldwater, Mississippi; a daughter, Carol Needham (Dennis) of Bald Knob; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Roberta Kelley of Imboden; a brother, Ray Ferrell of Illinois; and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013 at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held at 3 p.m. in Old Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Imboden. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Hackenburg, Tom Morgan, Monty Thame and Bud Stacey.
