Nola Stinner

Nola Stinner, 100, of Fort Smith, died Monday, May 3 in Fort Smith. She was born May 29, 1913 in the New Bethel community in Sevier County, Ark. as the only child of Frank and Mary Tollett. She married Ernest C. Stinner in 1938, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her son, Irving Stinner. She was of the Baptist faith and taught childrens Sunday school for over 30 years. Nola is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lissa and David Woodruff of Fort Smith; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 6 at Forest Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Peachtree Hospice, 2910 Jenny Lind Road, Building 4, Fort Smith, Ark. 72901.
