Barbara Jean Carter

Barbara Jean Carter, 71, of Sherwood, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Barbara was born August 6, 1941 in Portland, Ore. to the late Dave and Mildred Paulson. She is also preceded in death by her husband Floyd Walter Carter. Mrs. Carter was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed camping and traveling in an RV whenever possible. She is survived by children Jim Carter and wife Suzanne of Maumelle, Jeff Carter and fiancé Jennifer Bernauer of Jacksonville, Fla., and Jay Carter of Sherwood; stepson, Blaine Puderbaugh and wife Sheila of Forestville, Wis.; grandchildren, Kristina Carter, Britney Carter, Kara Carter, Jonathan Weir, and Isabelle Bernauer. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Arkansas Funeral Care, 2620 W. Main St., Jacksonville. Burial will be at a later date at St. Anthony Cemetery in Tigard, Ore.
