David Colwell

Mr. DAVID A. COLWELL, of Jacksonville, was born in Meadville, Pa. on May 11, 1950, and passed away in Little Rock, Ark. on June 13, 2013. He is preceded in death by his mother Kathleen Pierce Colwell. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Susan; his daughter, Lisa Olafson, and her husband, Alex, of Milton, Fla.; and his son, Eric Colwell, of Jacksonville, Ark.; his grandchildren, Joseph and Kimberly; and his great-grandchild, Jordan; as well as, three brothers and his father, David A. Colwell Sr. Other survivors include his Aunt Shirley and Uncle Ray and their daughter, Twila Caplinger. He enjoyed sending time outdoors being in nature, fishing, doing yard work and playing golf. He served his country during the Vietnam War and retired from the Army. A memorial service will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home in North Little Rock at a later date. www.griffinleggettresthills.com.
