Jordan Ryne Curtis, 22, of Little Rock, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013. He was born on September 24, 1990 to Todd and Candi Curtis. He was a 2009 graduate of Catholic High where he was a member of the State Championship Soccer team and The National Society of High School Scholars for academic excellence. He was a Chancellor's Scholar while attending U of A in Fayetteville in preparation for his ultimate goal of healing others as a doctor. He was a proud member of Sigma Chi Fraternity, whose values he exemplified every day. He had a selfless love and respect for others. He is survived by his parents, one sister, Lauren Elyse Curtis, of Little Rock, Grandparents, Bill and Kay Canada, of Dumas, Carla Curtis of Little Rock; four aunts, Ronda Curtis and Dayna Heaton (Don) of Little Rock; Amy Westerman (Nathan) and Kara Beth Crow (Nelson) of Dumas; one uncle, Brandon Curtis (Laura) of Denver, and a multitude of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ron Curtis. Jordan was an avid fan of the Razorbacks and Chicago sports – the Bears, Cubs, Bulls, and Blackhawks. There will be a celebration of Jordan's life on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home Chapel, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark.
