Katie Sue Freeman

Katie Sue Schee Freeman, 69, of Sparkman, died Monday, June 17, 2013. She was born October 19, 1943 in Gurdon, Arkansas to the late James Wesley and Georgia Bean Schee. She was also preceded in death by her son John Thomas Freeman and sister Barbara Fallin. She is survived by her husband Billy Mack Freeman of Sparkman; two daughters, Teresa Dillard and husband David of Holly Springs and Stacey Hibbard and husband Herschel of Bixby, Oklahoma; two brothers, Robert and Wayne Schee both of Gurdon; sister Shirley Martin of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; grandchildren, Dewayne and Katie Dillard of Yukon, Oklahoma, Charla and Bryan Barrett of Foley, Alabama; Trae, Heather, and Hayden Hibbard of Bixby, Oklahoma; and one great-granddaughter Olivia Barrett of Foley, Alabama. The family would like to offer a special thank you to her caretakers Ruthie Franks and Alice Lewis and to Ouachita County Hospice for their wonderful love and care. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services are 10 a.m. Friday at Bethlehem Cemetery in Gurdon.
