Reba Lora Johnson Boozer entered into eternal rest and healing on June 18, 2013. She was born December 11, 1932, in Paragould, Arkansas. She was the youngest daughter of Willie C. and Mary Elizabeth Price Johnson. Preceding her in death were her parents, her beloved husband, Bill Boozer, sister, Charleie Marion Pillow and brother, Von Rae Johnson. She is survived by her sister, Vivian Maxine Pickens, her children, Pamela (Wayne) Hargis and Timothy Boozer, and her much loved grandchildren, Lora Elizabeth (Michael) Linder, Adam Timothy Hargis, and Samuel Alan Boozer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Reba Boozer worked for Pulaski County Special School District for 20 years as a registrar at Jacksonville Elementary. She always loved the hustle and bustle of the office and the children. She served First Baptist Church for more than 25 years by rocking babies in the nursery. Oh, how she loved those babies! She was Granny Reba to them all. Before that she spent about 10 years serving as a teacher in the preschool departments at the church as well. She preferred to work where only her Lord knew what she was doing. She did not need man's praise. Memorials may be made to Odyssey Hospice 10800 Financial Centre Pkwy. Suite 380 Little Rock, AR 72211, or First Baptist Church 401 North First Street Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Jacksonville with Bro. Cliff Hutchins officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home & Crematory (501) 982-2136. Sign online guestbook at www.mooresjacksonvillefuneralhome.com.
