Paula Gwynn Amyx, age 66, of Wooster, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the home of her daughter in Atkins. She was born on August 16, 1946 in King City California to James L. and Mary Heffington. She is survived by her children, Gina Bailey and her husband Richard of Atkins and Dale Amyx of Wooster. She is also survived by a brother, Lynn Heffington and his wife Pat of Rocklin, California; two sisters, Nita Jennings and her husband George of Malvern, and Cindy Dickey and her husband George of Saltillo; her grandchildren: Aaron Bailey, Alison Overton and her husband Ozzy, Caitlin Amyx and Erica Amyx; nieces: Jennifer Jones and Toni Tucker and nephews: Chris Heffington , Ryan Heffington and Tate Dickey. She also leaves behind her best friend since childhood, Ann Anderson of Oroville, California, her companion Jim Daniels of Guy and her beloved dog Jethro. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ralph Amyx. She was a Baptist. She was a homemaker and she worked alongside her husband and son to operate the family farm in Wooster and with various businesses through the years. Funeral arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Greenbrier (501-679-2575). Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 20 at the funeral home. The funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 21, in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating. Burial will follow the service at Oak Bowery Cemetery in Saltillo, with Travis Burchfield, Tate Dickey, Aaron Bailey, Jackie Williams, Michael Lathem, and Ozzy Overton serving as pallbearers.
