Gene Jameson, Marshfield (formerly of Conway, Missouri), son of Clyde and Dora Mae (Beech) Jameson was born June 30, 1934 in Conway, Missouri, and departed this life June 19, 2013, at the age of 79 years. Gene was retired from OTASCO. He and his wife were the owners and manager of Anngoe manufacturing companies in Blytheville, and Manila, Arkansas for many years. He also enjoyed farming. On October 15, 1977, he was united in marriage to Ann Casey Loderback and together they shared 36 years. Preceding him in death were his parents; sisters, Loretta Miller and Vida Ruth Rountree; and son-in-law, Gary Jenkins; and one grandson, Nathan Blaine Jenkins. Survivors include his wife, Ann of the home; three daughters, Debby Claxton and Steve of Bolivar, Missouri, Kerry Mae Hartsoe of St. Louis, Missouri and Kim Jenkins of Beebe, Arkansas; one son, Steve Jameson and Tanja of North Little Rock, Arkansas; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Betty Francis and Rex, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dorothy Marlin and Herb of Los Angeles, California and Lois Patton and Dee of Collinsville, Oklahoma; one brother, James O. "Buck" Jameson and Nadine of Conway, Missouri; special friends, Bill and Donna Vincent; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Gene was a loving husband, daddy and papa, and was a cherished brother, and a thoughtful and caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and will cherish our memories of him for the rest of our lives. Services for Gene Jameson will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2013 at Day Funeral Home, Marshfield. Burial will follow in Marshfield Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2013 in the funeral home chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's or the Salvation Army and left in care of the funeral home.
