Elizabeth Hedderich Ventress

Elizabeth Hedderich "Liz" Ventress of Sheridan, Arkansas was born May 16, 1959 in Sedalia, Missouri, the daughter of the late P.J. and Marjorie McLaughlin Hedderich. She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church in Sedalia, Missouri and was a member of Sheridan Golf Club and K&V Hunting Club. She enjoyed cross-stitching and driving around the golf course socializing. She loved going on cruises and taking trips to Jamaica each year. Liz passed away Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Arkansas Hospice in Little Rock at the age of 54. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jack Hedderich. Survivors, husband, John N. Ventress, who she married Nov. 13, 1993; son, Jeremy and wife Amber Ventress of Alexander; brother, Jason and wife Melody Hedderich of Sedalia, Missouri and two grandchildren who called her "Gammy" Isabelle and Cooper Ventress and a host of friends. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan with Bro. Jody Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Arkansas Christian Academy, P.O. Box 150, Bryant, Arkansas 72089. Pallbearers will be Curtis McElyea, Shon Traylor, Jason Ryan, Chris Bartlett, Steve Blevins, Keith Feathers, Josh Meyer and Mike Ritchey. Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Womack and Joe White.
