Gavin Jace Smithpeters, 2, of Okolona, Arkansas passed away Tuesday June 25, 2013 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Gavin was born April 18, 2011 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to Jay and Jojo (Gattis) Smithpeters of Okolona, Arkansas. Gavin is preceded in death by his grandfather J.C. Smithpeters and great-grandfathers, Dwight Gattis and Tommy Brandon. Gavin is survived by his grandparents, Jimmy and Sharon Gattis of Gurdon, Arkansas, Jewel Smithpeters of Okolona, Arkansas, one Aunt Jennifer Smithpeters, one Uncle, Brandon Gattis, great-grandmother, Betty Gattis and great-grandmother, Virginia Brandon both of Gurdon, Arkansas. Special aunts, uncles and cousins, Tom Ed and Brenda Brandon, Heather, Kenny, Kenley and Jake Thomas Spruill, Jennifer, Donovan, Bryce, Gabby and Sarah Brandon, Becky, Ted, Sarah and Claire Bishop. And many many other close friends. Service will be Saturday June 29, 2013 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Gurdon with Bill Thornton officiating. Interment will follow in Center Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon.
