Gladys E. Reynolds

Gladys Rinehart Reynolds, age 90, of the East End Community, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. Gladys was born August 30, 1922 in Sheridan, Ark. to the late Jessie and Alice Watson Rinehart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Reynolds in 1997; two sisters, Geneva Oates and Carrie Huggins. She is survived by three sons, Larry Reynolds (Joyce) of Corpus Christi, Texas; Johnny Reynolds (Beverly) and Mark Reynolds(Patsy) both of East End; sister, Eloise Allen Durham; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. Gladys was retired from Timex Corporation. She was a member of East Union Missionary Baptist Church for over 50 years, where she enjoying attending the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class. She was also a member of Iron Springs Eastern Star, and enjoyed traveling with the Silver Streaks Senior Group from Redfield. Visitation will be 6-8 pm. this evening Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Griffin, Leggett, Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W. 12th, Little Rock, Ark. (501) 661-9111. Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2013 at East Union Missionary Baptist Church, in the East End Community, with Bro. Paul Roberts officiating.
