Billie Sue Dunn

Billie Sue "Betty" Dunn, 78, of Clarksville, passed away June 27, 2013. She was born September 17, 1934, in Russellville, to the late Allen Brown and Lila (Davis) Brown. Mrs. Dunn was a very family oriented person, she loved children and was a devoted wife. She moved to southern California in the 1960s and it was there that she met the love of her life, Eugene Dunn. They were married November 9, 1963, a union that lasted 48 years until Eugene's death in 2011. In the late 1960s they settled down in central California as a farming family. They oversaw a farm of 1,000 acres. In the 1980s they moved back to Arkansas, settling in Clarksville. While in Clarksville she continued her dedication to helping people by working as a nurse's aide. In addition to her parents and her husband she is preceded in death by one son, Carl Alllen Dunn. Mrs. Dunn is survived by two sons, Steven Upton of Quitman, Arkansas and Michael Owen Upton of California; one daughter, Stephanie (Upton) Bussy of Los Banos, California; seven grandchildren, Krystal, Dyllian, Emma Lee, Evan, Eric, Nathan, and Leann; and two great-grandchildren, Drake and Luke.
