Thomas Wilkins

Thomas Troy Wilkins, age 90, of Traskwood, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013. He was born January 29, 1923 in Sparkman, Arkansas. Mr. Wilkins was a W.W. II Air Force veteran and spent his life as a farmer/rancher. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Tishie Wilkins; three brothers, Bill, James Edward and John D. Wilkins; three sisters, Frances Hearnsburger, Emogene Wilkins and Vivian Burkes and a grandson, Cody. He is survived by his wife, Frances Wilkins of Traskwood; three sons, Tom (Karen) Wilkins of Russellville, Tim (Gail) Wilkins of Glen Allen, Mississippi and Jon (Carol) Wilkins of Sherwood; two daughters, Donna (Rick) Duck of Holland and Jacki (Richard) Garrett of Benton; brother, Mike Wilkins of Sparkman; sister, Marie Wilkins Tutt of Sparkman; ten grandchildren, Shelley, Hunter, Christi, Jim, Gayla, Stephen, Corey, Brian, Julie and Matt; fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 4 at Ashby Funeral Home. Bro. Wade Totty will be officiating. Memorials may be made to the Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant.
