Betty Ann Low

Dr. Betty Ann Lowe, age 78, of Little Rock, passed away Tuesday March 5, 2013 at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She was born March 23, 1934 at Grapevine, Texas to the late John Willace and Winnie Mercer Lowe. She was of the Methodist faith, the former Medical Director of Arkansas Children's Hospital, the former Associate Dean of the University of Arkansas School of Medicine and Professor of Pediatrics. She was preceded in death by her parents, one niece, Laurie Ann Fritz and one brother-in-law, Bill Good. Survivors include two sisters, Dr. Mary L. Good of Little Rock and Dr. Margaret L. Bogle and husband William of Dallas, Texas; one brother, John E. Lowe and wife Deltha of Parkdale, Oregon; four nephews, Billy J. Good of Little Rock, James Patrick Good of Madison, Wisconsin, Mark Bogle of Longview, Texas and Mike Bogle of Dallas; two nieces, Alicia Lowe of Vancouver, Washington and Gina Lowe of Little Rock; seven great-nephews, five great nieces and one great-great-niece. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Bluffton, Cemetery in Bluffton, Arkansas with Chaplain Del Farris of Arkansas Children's Hospital officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2013 at Cornwell Funeral Home in Danville.
