Wynell D. Stacks

Wynell D. Stacks, 77, of Conway, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013. She was born Dec. 5, 1935 in Hazen, Ark., a daughter of Elzie and Vera Hudson Dollar. For several years Wynell served as the nanny of the children of the late Winthrop Paul Rockefeller Jr., she then retired after 17 years as a supervisor from Conway Human Development Center. She was of the Methodist faith, and a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by a son, David Stacks (Tricia) of Cabot; daughters, Linda Gosnell of Conway, and Nancy Massingill (Dennis) of Morrilton; brothers, Calvin Dollar( Linda) of Newport, and Kenneth Dollar (Geraldine) of Mayflower; sisters, Gloria Franks of Pine Bluff, and Charlotte Jenkins (Ronald) of Carlisle; grandsons, Jeremy Gosnell and Justin Gosnell both of Conway and Bailey Stacks (Marie) of Little Rock; granddaughters, Amanda Rowden of Morrilton, Amanda Pickett (Ryan) of Sherwood, and Ashley Thomas of Cabot; seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 11, at the Harris Chapel with Bro. Ben Leonard officiating. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
