Herbert E. Russell

Herbert E. Russell, age 87, of Magnolia, Arkansas, passed away, Sunday, March 10, 2013. Mr. Russell was born March 1, 1926, in Falcon, Arkansas, to Elmore and Verna Marlar Russell. He was the owner of Rustex Oil, Inc., SH&J Drilling Corporation, and Fred Stewart Trucking Company. Mr. Russell was a supporter of the Republican Party. Mr. Russell was preceded in death by his parents; and two siblings, Dorothy Waters and Arthur Russell. He is survived by three children, Wayne "Bubba" Russell of Magnolia, Ark.; Marie Vickers and husband, Billy of Magnolia, Ark.; and Betty Storar and husband, Jimmy of Shreveport, La.; sister-in-law, Betty K. Russell of Magnolia, Ark.; six grandchildren, Russ Storar, Sharon Wiggins, Todd Vickers, Bryan Russell, Brad Russell, and Chris Russell; and six great grandchildren, Cody Russell, Lexi Russell, Zack Wiggins, Klein Vickers, Bryce Vickers, and Blaine Vickers. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, Ark., with Bro. Mickey May officiating. Interment will follow at Columbia Cemetery in Waldo, AR. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
