Betty Joe Hiler

Betty Joe Hiler, 78, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 12, 2013. She was born in Russell May 15, 1934 a daughter of the late H.J. and Carrie Neeley Stiles. Mrs. Hiler was a member of the Russell Missionary Baptist Church. She and her late husband, Robert Hiler, enjoyed square dancing as long as health permitted. She also was an avid animal lover and enjoyed the outdoors. Survivors: son, Larry Usrey (Judy) of Bald Knob; daughter, Tangela Smith (Tim) of Indiana; five grandchildren, Ziba Lawrence, Stephanie Muckelberg, Travis and Chelstie Smith and Timothy George; nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Alvin "Blackie" Stiles; sisters, Inez Skinner and Juanita Stiles. Visitation: Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Services: Friday, March 15, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel.
