James E. Vaught

James E. Vaught, 83, of Forrest City, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He has lived in Forrest City since 1967, moving there from Little Rock. Jim was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Forrest City. He was preceded in death by his parents, JC and Lena Vaught; sister, Lillian Allen; and nephew, Richard Allen. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Rita Vaught, of the home; son, Jim Vaught (Sharon) of Batesville; daughters, Debbie Digaetano (Frank) of Jonesboro; Becky Hubbard (Greg) of North Little Rock; grandchildren; Andy "Drew", Maria, and Tommy Digaetano; Luke and Reed Hubbard. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Blessed Sacrament in Jonesboro with Father Jack Vu officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday with a Rosary starting at 7 p.m. in the Emerson Chapel. Pallbearers are Drew Digaetano, Tommy Digaetano, Luke Hubbard, Reed Hubbard, Dwayne Engle, and James Pilkinton. Honorary pallbearers are Maky Hufstedler, Ed Chauvin, Bill Trail, Jim Beasley, Ron Cockmon and Horace Proctor. A committal service will be 3:30 p.m., Friday, March 12, 2013 at Pinecrest Cemetery in Alexander, Arkansas with Father Mauricio Carrasco of St. Teresa's Catholic Church in SW Little Rock officiating.
